So you can see there is a doorway between two different worlds. Two different modes of living, of operating. A doorway between two different versions of reality.
Man’s. Their teachings, their paradigms, their customs, traditions and rules.
And God’s.
Two different worlds. Two different frames of reference.
And the difference between the two is spelled out for us, right there. There is man’s kind of righteousness (sense of rights) and there is God’s.
Do your rights come from other humans? Or from God? And if not from other humans, then you don’t need their permission or approval to have your will come to pass in your life.
Hence, kingdom. Or dominion.
We see this spelled out again in Romans 5:17
“… how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
What This is Saying
When you come into the recognition that you are not obligated to man’s rules, customs and paradigms, that you get to make up your own, instead…
You begin to reign. You begin to take the reins of your life.
No more following what everyone else tells you is allowable or acceptable. Instead, you decide for yourself.
Reigning in your life.
